Aid projects

Nova Cabana Activewear has a clear goal: we want to offer children in need a better future! Access to food, health, hygiene, housing, education and recreation should be guaranteed for all children. That is why we support various charitable organizations around the world that help and support children in need. In Brazil alone, for example, tens of thousands of children live on the streets or in precarious conditions that make them even more vulnerable. That is why we support local and international institutions that work every day to provide a better life for all children around the world. You too can support this cause and make a difference with us!

Monte Salém

Monte Salém is a non-profit, philanthropic organization that was founded in 2002 with the aim of caring for children between the ages of 0 and 12 under socially risky conditions. The organization offers children at risk a safe home through targeted measures. The organization supports the children, among other things, with books, toys and other knowledge-enhancing and fun activities. The family bond between the children and their families is also strengthened and adoption is made possible for children without a family. Monte Salém was founded with the aim of welcoming children at risk, for whom sexual abuse, domestic violence, physical and psychological abuse and existential fears are normal everyday life. With love, respect and financial support, the needs of these children are met so that they can develop properly in society.

Der kleine Nazareno

The Little Nazareno has existed for over 25 years and has become the largest aid organization for street children in Brazil. The aid organization of the same name in portuguese “O pequeno Nazareno” was founded by the German-born Bernardo Rosemeyer. The aid organization works and helps street children in Brazil in various ways. There are two children's villages for street children in Brazil. One near the metropolis of Fortaleza and one near the metropolis of Recife. There is also a town house in Manaus. In these children's villages the street children, who often lived for several years under the most miserable conditions on the street, receive school and vocational training and the way into a new future is prepared for them. In addition to the children's villages, The Little Nazareno also works primarily in the families from which the children once ran away.

The parents and siblings of the street children can take part in vocational courses and they are helped, for example, to find a job. Often only minor changes are needed to free the whole family from their plight with the aim that the street children are also reintegrated into the family. On the political level, the Little Nazareno has started a nationwide campaign with the aim of getting all organizations trying to help street children to come to one table and to establish uniform guidelines for working with street children. The Ministry for Children, Youth and Family recently asked Little Nazareno to draw up guidelines for new laws that would enable street children to be helped with efficient care and to enable them to lead a decent life.
