Monte Salem

Monte Salém is a non-profit philanthropic organization, founded in 2002 with the goal of taking care of children from 0 to 12 years old in conditions of social risk. The organization developed measures to offer children at risk a safe home in a space that is specially designed for them, where values of collaboration and organization are promoted, as well as access to toys and books in spaces of the house. The family bond between children and their families is also strengthened and children are referred for adoption. Monte Salém was founded with the purpose of welcoming children under risk situations, such as family abandonment, victims of domestic violence and physical and psychological abuse. Through love, respect and responsibility, children's needs are fully met so that they can develop properly in society."
